About me
Greg Castle is the managing partner of Anorak Ventures, a seed-stage venture firm focused on emerging technologies. Greg has worked closely with and invested in over 90 startups, counting five seed-stage investments now valued +$1B including Oculus, Rec Room, Anduril, Flock Safety, and Mux. His combined portfolio has gone on to raise $2.5B and has a total market capitalization of $15.2B. Anorak is currently investing out of its second $25M fund.
Previously, Greg founded and was the co-CEO of the UK retail chain Pure before moving into technology as a marketing executive at Scaleform (acq. 2011), Autodesk (NASDAQ: ADSK), and Glassdoor (acq. 2018). During that time Greg honed his ability to distill complex technical concepts into clear, impactful messaging. He uses this skill and his influential network of founders, executives, and investors to add value to his portfolio companies. Greg has a degree in International Business and Marketing from the University of Maryland and is a dedicated husband and father.
